This place is very homey and quaint. It is kept clean, and there are a lot of different options - bunk beds, private rooms and car camping. The kitchen is fully stocked, and they offer fresh coffee and free eggs. There are chickens and a rooster on the grounds, so plenty of eggs! With three full bathrooms, there is almost always one available. The outside patio area is shady, with lots of greenery, and comfortable seating. The location is convenient - just north of Palm Springs - about 10 minutes. Parking on the street outside the property will accommodate trailers and campers...very rural location. The staff deserve a round of applause with how they treated me! Felt very much like a part of a family, they were all very welcoming! Shared some delicious meals prepared by the staff! Very affordable rates! Very cool 420 friendly lounge area on the very large patio!

Was looking for a place to stay for a couple days at a reasonable price and found this crashpod hostel in desert Hot springs. John and Sarah we're very nice to me. Thought it was cool that they provided fresh eggs from their various chickens on the property, ample parking. I found the place to be clean, organized and well-kept. I will definitely be a returning guest.

fine value for price: clean and quiet, friendly administration, nicely planted garden out front , and even healthy & happy chickens that give you a couple of eggs /day , as part of the bargain ! Situated in a nice quiet suburb with stores nearby and good bus service. Lovely view of the San Jacinto mountains.

I met a lot of interesting people from around the world there and locals too. I made friendships The staff was very friendly fun and extremely helpful. The price is about 25% of the hotel prices 15 minutes away in Palm Springs. I can't say enough about how flexible and helpful the staff and ownership were. The grounds are very nice. Everything is clean and neat. I had a fantastic time. Don't forget to have free breakfast with fresh eggs from the free range chickens there..

Crashpod Hostel was a wonderful place to stay and highly recommend the place for people traveling in Palm Springs California or Desert Hot Springs California.

Coming from NY, I had unexpected knee surgery in Palm Springs..this became the perfect spot to heal and rest. I was very comfortable and keep coming back!😁

Really great little spot. Felt like home. Friendly staff, cats and chickens to hang out with, and comfortable beds. Perfect for an affordable and unique stay while in town.
